COMPATIBILITY OF PEOPLE FROM THE ASTROLOGICAL POINT OF VIEW

The results of two investigations are given in this article. Conflicting pairs participated in one – and the other – is the primary analysis of data, gathered from 1500 married couples.

The data for the first study was gathered in the human resources department of the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute. There were two samples: or reproofs and of notes of gratitude. That is boss – subordinate pairs were looked at. We assumed that a reproof – is the last measure, used when there is a lack of understanding between two people. We considered these as conflicting pairs. We had access to the subjects’ dates of birth, from which we calculated the longitude of the bodies with the accuracy of up to 1 degree. The longitude of the Moon was taken as at the middle of an astronomical day. Comparing the two excerpts showed that in a number of cases, there were real differences in the object relationship of the bodies in the cosmogramms of two subjects and “conflicting” planets were singled out. They are Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto. The existence of disharmonic aspects (0°, 90° , 180°) between the conflicting planets of one horoscope and the conflicting planets of the other, could be seen in the conflicting pairs. The fact that Mars and Saturn came out as conflicting planets will not surprise any of the astrologists. However, Jupiter exhibits much aggressiveness when afflicted. The presence of Pluto here can also be explained, we hold it responsible for self-assertion, and in bad aspects – dictation and the desire to use force in solving the problem.

The second investigation was conducted, based on the data, gathered from one of the Leningrad Legal Registration Offices. All marriages were contracted in 1968. Divorce information is always delivered to the Office, where a marriage was made legal. That is why collecting marriage data in 1989; we not only had the information on who got married, but also on who got divorced in the next 21 years. Preliminary analysis had shown that not many solar signs are among the divorcees. According to the solar signs, all 144 pair combinations are possible (12x12), and all of them may be stable in the 21-year period. However, there are certain preferences and repulsions. For instance, it became clear that the least number of marriages were concluded between Sagittarius and Scorpios, both men and women, and also Cancer-women. Capricorns and Pisces, men and women, have a disposition for family life, also Taurus-men, Aquarius-men and Lion-women. The higher divorce rate is among the Cancer-women (they also contracted the least number of marriages). The lowest divorce rate is among Libras, both sexes. It also became evident, that pair compatibility generated by their Signs is symmetric, relative to the partners’ sex. For example, of the 144 possible combinations, Aquarius-men and Lion-women entered marriages more often; that, with the average divorce rate. And marriages between Lion-men and Aquarius-women are 2.5 times rarer, with the divorce rate above average. Also, marriages between two Taurus signs, Taurus-men and Libra-women, Taurus-men and Capricorn-women are common; their divorce rates are average or even low. Unions between Gemini-men and Pisces-women (average divorce rate), Libra-men and Lion-women (low divorce rate), Taurus-men and Airies-women (average divorce rate), Virgo-men and Gemini-women (low divorce rate), Capricorn-men and Sagittarius-women (average divorce rate) are common. It also became clear that the “bad” aspects (90° и 180° ) are not always bad in marriage, and that the “good” aspects (60° и 120° ) don’t always yield positive results. For instance, Aquarius-Lion, Gemini-Pisces, Virgo-Gemini – relatively stable, and Virgo-Capricorn, Virgo-Scorpio, Taurus-Cancer, Taurus-Virgo, Cancer-Virgo, Scorpio-Capricorn, Capricorn-Scorpio, Pisces-Cancer haven a high divorce rate. In all cases the first sign is – husband, the second – wife.

The gathered data led us to the following conclusion on the horoscope compatibility of people:

The Sun is responsible for mutual understanding and has no effect on conflicting;
Conflicting is ruled by 4 planets:

Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto.

Practical work with people, helped to supplement the overall pattern by the following points:

If two conflicting planets of two horoscopes are in tension with each other, their aspects being 0° ; 90° и 180°, but in horoscopes of subjects possessing harmonic aspects 60° и 120°, than conflicts may occur, but it is possible to constructively eliminate them, since the subjects themselves are not conflicting;
The sexual planets of male (Moon and Venus) and female (Sun and Mars) horoscopes, their harmonious and disharmonious aspects speak for harmony or lack of it in love, as it is described in classical astrological literature.

Aside from that, the gathered results help to give scientific explanations to astrological clauses. Since in telling compatibility we put two natal cards one on top of the other, there are two patterns of planet positions, as they were at the moment of a person’s birth, one may think that a human being somehow retains that picture of special placement of heavenly planets. From this position, we generated and published in scientific editions, the hypothesis of informational-energetic imprinting:

The gravitational field functions as the material bearer of the planetary influence, but we are concerned with informational (low energy) relationships, vibrations;
The pattern of the special positions of planets is imprinted in the structures of an organism, much like a hologram, and the energy reflected by a body recreates the energy-informational picture around it, which influences its relationships with other objects;
The stress of birth (delivery, asphyxia, physiological changes taking place in connection with switching to autonomous breathing, the first awakening, the great deal of new information and so on) includes the process of copying down information, imprinting, powered by the mechanisms of reflex and memory formation.

We can make the conclusion that only statistical research can bring astrology from an amateur level to the level of a modern science, serve to make astrology – accepted by the scientific elites of today. Otherwise, it can not become a science of the future – studying Humans.
